A Father’s Day Baseline Survey of Older Black Men in Essex

March 2025 – Codub Consulting Ltd is pleased to announce the completion and release of a new research report conducted for the Over 50s Black Men Forum (O5BM) titled A Father’s Day Baseline Survey of Older Black Men in Essex.

The research was designed to generate robust baseline insight into key aspects of health, wellbeing, social connection, and community participation among older Black men living in Essex. The study captures lived experience data from this group, helping to inform future service design, impact measurement, and stakeholder engagement.

This work forms an important evidence foundation for organisations and policymakers interested in improving outcomes for older Black men—a demographic often under-represented in local population research despite growing numbers and influence within their communities.

  • Health and wellbeing priorities
  • Social and community engagement patterns
  • Access to services and support networks
